Reflection LakeThough Mt. Rainier National Park possesses numerous lakes, the most popular (and photographed) is Reflection Lake. Located south of Paradise Valley, the lake was created over 5,000 years ago when an avalanche swept through the area, creating a dam that filled the lake. A beautiful reflection of Mt. Rainier can be seen on the lake's surface, especially when the wind is scarce and the water is still. Be Prepared:
