There are over 1,000 books in Tom's leather-bound collection. Most of the books are published by Easton Press and many are out-of-print. Franklin Library, which is no longer in business, published most of the rest. Book values range from about $25 to $300. The total value of the collection is approximately $65,000.
Tom used several ways to accumulate his collection. Most books, especially out-of-print books, were acquired at eBay auctions. Others were purchased directly from Easton Press. Some were purchased from private owners for a negotiated price.
