Workflow/Process
There are five steps that should be followed when undertaking a Digital Rights Collection project at the center. They are as follows:
- Identify Project - We have several legacy and ongoing projects in the center. Many of the agreements have not been digitized yet. We usually start with the projects that have the most licensed assets.
- Identify Licensed assets in the project - As stated earlier, you must decide what "Licensed" means. Basically are you going to manage all assets originating outside of your group (CU 25 Libraries) or assets outside of your institution.
- Determine where the agrrements for the assets are located.
- Collect Agreements
- Digitize - Scan all agreements, and PDF them.
- Create Drupal Instance and upload agreement.
