Kindergarten Program

The kindergarten program is offered at the Greenlawn location only.

The program exposes five year old children to a variety of social and educational activities. Our monthly calendars (pdf file*) outline planned activities and learning experiences and encourage parents to participate. The classroom is large and sunny and includes

• computers with updated educational programs
• a library room equipped with a writing center, a computer, and individual library cards
• an art room with ample supplies for each child to be creative and original
• science, math, social studies, reading/writing, and story books

Weather permitting, children play outside daily in our safe, fenced in backyard. Field trips are planned throughout the year.

The kindergarten program has been developed to supplement the half-day kindergarten program of the Harborfields school district and is thus available from

• 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., or
• 12:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Arrangements can be made to coordinate with the Harborfields school district bus schedule.
