Phyllis Nurkin is a mother of three and a grandmother of two. She worked as a public school kindergarten teacher in Brooklyn's P.S. 203 for over 30 years.Phyllis has been knitting regularly since her retirement and currently resides in Brooklyn, with her husband, and attends a weekly knitting group.
