Elizabeth, otherwise known as Bitty, has been baking since she was a young girl. Always the artistic one, she has stretched her ability into cake decorating. Although not a professional, Bitty loves to make cakes for friends and family and is always the first one called upon. How did she start? One day she decided to start decorating her cakes and it became an enjoyable hobby for her. I just felt like doing something other than regular icing.
This sparked her passion. A quick search on YouTube for cake decorating lessons and the decorating bug caught her. Ever since, she has been the go-to cake decorator for family and friends. Why does she like doing it? Bitty says, I just love the fun of turning something that tastes good into a piece of artwork.
Her cakes range from regular chocolate and vanilla to cannoli and the all time favorite rainbow cookie cake. Her newest creation is the decorated cupcake tree. She also just doesn't decorate, she also loves baking different types of cookies.
