This book object is a self portrait of a new mother: Two objects come together here - a dustpan and brush - common bedfellows transformed. The dustpan has a computer-generated self-portrait on its pan and the words "Please Hang Up!" printed twice on its sides. The companion dust-brush is made of carved walnut with planted bristles, of line flax and of human hair, which spell out the word: DESIST.
